Fall in Love with our Newest Designer Arrivals at Le Thrift

Fall is here and crisp air sends us running to our closets to rev up our cold weather wardrobe. We all want to wear pieces that transition to fall so our staff paired up colorful cold weather pieces to our summer items carry us through those chilly fall nights.

Le Thrift Consignment Boutique spent the day with model Alicja Burek, photographer Dean Paul and stylist Thomas Vaughan in beautiful Lincoln Park pulling some looks to inspire your for your fall wardrobe. All of the clothing and accessories are for sale at Le Thrift Consignment Boutique in Wicker Park Chicago.

Color is a big trend this fall and the pieces we have at the store are colorful and truly unique. Pair a vintage Bill Blass jacket with a knitted print dress by Alexander McQueen. Keep your feet warm with these playful BCBG boots with zippers. Complete this outfit with a local, Chicago designer - Eartha Henley necklace and a luxurious Gucci hobo that any fashionista would envy.

Next our staff photographed by Caldwell pond in Lincoln Park on such gorgeous sunny day and put together this outfit with a color palette inspired by the unraveling fall color. Model Alijca is wearing a top by Cynthia Rowley, silk pants by Theysken's Theory, yellow suede pumps by Marc Jacobs , emerald green leather handbag by Marc jacobs and a vintage navy jacket.

Reviving vintage is what Le Thrift loves to do and this next look has us updating an 80's tartan plaid wool skirt with a more current trench coat and an early 90's silk Esprit hot pink top. We could not forget adding a mint condition Tory Burch handbag to complete the outfit.

All of these items are for sale at Le Thrift consignment boutique. Stop by and check out our newest arrivals designer, name brand and vintage clothing. And if you are discovering that you are in desperate need of a closet clean out contact us to have a consultant pick up your items and cash in on your gently loved designer clothing. Audrey Inspiration-A Classic Pearl Necklace with a Twist

At LeThrift we have the lovely Audrey Hepburn to look to daily for style inspiration.  It's almost as if she is watching over the store and every customer that comes in to help them find that special item. The painting was inspired by Audrey's iconic character in Breakfast at Tiffany's.  A classic movie to watch for great style inspiration from the clothes to the interiors, but not exactly a favorite.  Watch the movie for the fashion because that is the best thing about it.

Pearl necklaces will be forever classic and timeless. Pearls are heirloom pieces. Who wants a pearl necklace that looks exactly like everyone else's though?  I have nightmares about someone wearing the same thing as me.  Certainly I'm not the only one?!?  Part of the reason why I prefer to shop vintage and local designs is it helps to ease the fear of being someone's twin.  I adore classic pieces, but with a twist, a pop, or a sparkle.

A fabulous chunky, baroque pearl necklace made by a local artist.  This necklace sparkles with different sizes, textures, and colors of pearls and crystals.

A vintage faux pearl necklace mixed with black beads and metal chains.  All tie together with a delicate black bow in the back.

A vintage multi-strand faux pearl necklace accented with black and smoky grey quartz like stones.

This locally made necklace is a delicate blend of white baroque pearls and clear quartz.

Mixing and mingling of baroque pearls and black onyx beads in multiple layers this necklace is handcrafted by a Chicago artist.

Choose the piece that feels the best to you, the piece you don't want to put down, and can't stop thinking about. Jewelry shopping should never stressful. It's a treat.  Remember to have fun with your pearls.
