Le Thrift Consignment Boutique participated in Via del Corso, a Fashion Focus Chicago featured event held at Parliament in Chicago on October 19th. In its second year, the Masquerade Affair was produced by M.GO Fashion Co. The evening was hosted by Natalie Martinez with an appearance by Model Jaslene Gonzalez on the red carpet.
Le Thrift Consignment Boutique celebrated Fashion Focus Chicago 2013 with M. GO Fashion Salon and other fashion designers at the BE-YOU-TIFUL Fashion Night! The fashionable and fabulous enjoyed first looks and 25% off of the hottest designer labels for fall.Tiger Beer was generously offered to guests. It was a night of cocktails and couture!
Le Thrift Consignment Boutique along with fashion designers M.GO Fashion Co Trendy Fashion, Leen Abozahab Chapeaux Couture and Verneccia Lashay Fashion House presented a walk-through fashion show. Fashion Stylist Thomas Vaughan was on hand to lend his talents to those looking for a third fashion eye. Guests looking for some relief enjoyed acupuncture treatments provided by Dr. Amy Cortis. 10% of all Le Thrift Consignment Boutique sales were donated to One Hope United.

In its ninth year, the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (DCASE), along with the assistance of the Mayor’s Fashion Council, presents Fashion Focus Chicago 2013, a week-long celebration of Chicago‘s thriving fashion industry.
From October 15th through October 20th, the city's fashion initiative promotes the independent fashion boutiques and designers in Chicago. Fashion Focus Chicago is a great opportunity for local designers to display their work for large audiences around the city, as well as allows tourists and locals to be exposed to the fashion diversity of the Chicago scene. Designers, industry professionals, consumers, and artists come together to support emerging and established designers and small local businesses, purchase new trends, learn about the industry, and enjoy Fashion Focus Chicago events throughout the city.
Fashion Focus Chicago will produce a series of runway shows in Millennium Park showcasing the latest looks of emerging and established designers and will produce other premiere events like Industry Day and shopping events (listed below). Many boutiques and organizations will also be hosting shopping events, trunk shows and industry events around the city.
As a lover of all things Chicago-made, it will be exciting to see runway-level designs from emerging Chicago designers. Well-respected and designers known locally and internationally will also get their time in the spotlight.
