One Hope United is a private, nonprofit human resource organization dedicated to protecting children and strengthening families. Founded as Chicago Baptist Orphanage in 1895 and Hudelson Baptist Children's Home in 1903, today, they are a federation of agencies that spans multiple states. With principal offices in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri and Florida, they serve nearly 15,000 children and families each year.
About One Hope United's Northern Region
For most of the children and families they serve, the holiday season can be a time of worry and stress, rather than joy, as they struggle to make ends meet. One Hope United conducts an annual Holiday Giving Campaign to provide gifts for children and young adults in need. Each child or young adult completes a wish list. This gives you, the sponsor, an opportunity to make a personal difference in the life of a child. It is always wonderful to read the thank you notes from these children and their parents.

Help a child or young adult's wish come true and make the holidays a little brighter by sponsoring an individual or group for the holidays.
Please note the deadline which allows One Hope United to distribute gifts to all children and young adults before the holidays. All gifts will need to be dropped off at a One Hope United office, in Chicago, unless other arrangements are made, in advance, through Jenaeth Markaj. Sorry, we do not have the capacity to pick up gifts.
